Kidz Club Faculty

Rhonda joined Caughlin Club Kidz March of 2015. She is a mother of 2 boys and has 55 credits towards her AA in Early Childhood Education. She has been in the early childhood field for 20 years and previously owned her own preschool center and has also been a director for two large preschools in Reno; she has excellent training and experience in all areas of early childhood education.

Cynthia joined Caughlin Club Kidz February of 2017. She has 2 girls, one is in high school and plays volleyball while the other is in middle school and likes to play soccer. Her youngest struggles with Autism and keeps the family very busy. She has been married to her husband Travis for over 13 years now. Her family loves the outdoors; they love to go camping, snow machining, shooting, 4X4 off-roading and spending time with family and friends. Cyndi has an Associates in Psychology, Bachelors in Applied Behavioral Science and a Minor in Early Childhood Education. With over 10 years in the early childhood field and has owned her own daycare/preschool for 10 years in previous years. This has been the most fulfilling job and where her love and passion belongs. Her favourite saying is “I measure my success by helping others reach their full potential”.

Maria joined Caughlin Club Kidz in February of 2008. She is pursuing her education in Early Childhood Education degree. Maria has fourteen years’ experience in childcare. Maria is our Starfish teacher and enjoys engaging with the children in English, Spanish and ESL to enhance their vocabulary at an early age.

Katrina joined our Caughlin Club Kidz Family in April of 2015. She is the mother of two children. She has 19 college credits in Early Childhood Education and is looking forward to going back to school to continue her education. She has worked in Early Childhood Education field since summer of 2003. Katrina enjoys being outdoors, doing crafts and spending time with her friends and family. 

Amanda joined our Caughlin Club Kidz Family in November of 2015. Before her adventure with CCK she was a General Manager and opened a gym so she is always ready for a workout. She will be starting Penn State University Fall of 2017 to obtain her Bachelors in Human Development or Family Studies.  

Monica just recently joined our team at CCK. Her goals in the classroom are to be a loving teacher to the kids and help meet their needs in any way possible while also broadening her professional horizons. Her long term goals in life are to join the military and to receive financial help with college. 

Alana recently joined our team at Caughlin Club Kidz. She is a mother and has worked in Early Education for a little over a year now. Her hobbies include horseback riding and swimming. She enjoys her career choice in working with kids, they are what brings her joy and she loves making them and others laugh and smile.

Janet has been with Caughlin Club Kidz since February 2016. She is welcoming a baby boy in September of 2017. While Janet enjoys working with infants to toddlers, she is pursuing her Bachelors in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education so that one day she can work with elementary school children.

Janie is a mother of two. She has worked with kids about three years now and absolutely enjoy working with them. She enjoys the age group she works with and helping them learn every day! Her goal for the children in her class is to do her best teaching them, as well as making it fun and a safe environment while parents are at work. Janie loves her Jellyfish and loves being their Lead Teacher!

Kathy joined Caughlin Club Kidz in October of 2012. She attended UNR where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in human development and family studies. Kathy has forty years of experience working in childcare.

Stephanie has been working in the childcare field for over 10 years. She enjoys working with children and watching them grow into young adults. She has a 16 year old son that she is very proud of. She enjoys spending time with her son and family while also continuing her education in school to receive her Associates in Early Childhood Education. She currently has 30 credits towards this degree.

Linda joined our Caughlin Club Kidz Family in March of 2015. She is the mother of Thomasina and grandmother of four beautiful grandchildren. She also has her CDA (Child Development Associate) along with fifteen years of child care experience. Linda also holds a servesafe.nom certification and enjoys her new career as a lunch/snack preparer and floater.

All of the staff are required to obtain a Negative TB Test and Sheriff’s card through Washoe County prior to employment.

Within 90 days of employment the following classes must be taken:
Communicable Diseases Class, First Aid & CPR certification, SIDs Class, Child Abuse and Neglect, Obesity and Nutrition Class.

Thereafter and every year they must obtain:
27 training hours within the Early Childhood field per year
