Meet Our Faculty
At Caughlin Club Kidz all of our phenomenal staff are required to obtain a Negative TB Test and Sheriff’s card through Washoe County prior to employment.
Within 90 days of employment the following classes must be taken:
Communicable Diseases Class
First Aid & CPR certification
Child Abuse and Neglect
Obesity and Nutrition Class
Shaken Baby Syndrome
Thereafter and every year they must obtain:
30 training hours within the Early Childhood field per year.
We’d like to take a moment to introduce our phenomenal staff here at Caughlin Club Kidz:
Ms. Rhonda joined Caughlin Club Kidz in March of 2015. She is a mother of 3 boys, Dillon and Danny Jr and Miles. Rhonda is fostering to adopt Miles and hopes to finish the process soon. Rhonda is working towards her AA in Early Childhood Education at Truckee Meadows Community College and will graduate in May 2021. She has been in the early childhood filed for 20+ years. She has also been a director for two large preschools in Reno and also had the privilege of owning her own facility. She plans on continuing with her lifelong passion of working with young children. Rhonda has excellent training and experience in all areas of Early Childhood Education. She strives to make Caughlin Club Kidz the best quality facility in the Reno/Sparks area for young children.
Ms. Melanie joined our facility in June of 2017 as a co-lead teacher in our Jellyfish classroom. Melanie was promoted to Administrative Assistant in February 2018. She graduated from TMCC with an AA in Early Childhood Education in spring of 2017. She is attending UNR to obtain her bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies and will graduate in May 2021. She is a mom of two little boys; Connor and Daniel. She enjoys working with and advocating for children. Melanie is also our ECERS coach for 3 years to grade school. She coaches and guides our preschool staff in quality care for preschool children. Melanie plans on teaching trainings to our staff as well once she is fully certified.
Starfish Classroom (6 Weeks to 12 Months)
Ms. Maria joined Caughlin Club Kidz in February, 2008 and is pursuing her education in ECE. She has 18 credits towards her associates’ degree in Early Childhood Education this far. Maria has 15 years’ experience working in childcare. She has two beautiful daughters that also attend Caughlin Adventure Camp and has been married for over 18 years. Maria goes above and beyond her job duties. She loves each of our babies as if they were her own. Maria takes pride in making our baby room the best, and is a wonderful asset to our center. Maria is our ITERS coach for infant to 2 years old. She helps to coach and guide our infant/toddler teachers in best quality care for children.
Kristin joined Caughlin Club Kidz in April, 2017. She is new to the field and our facility, but feels this is her true calling. She loves being with the infants and being around children and learning new things every day. Kristin has been married to her husband for 4 years and has one son of her own who has attended our facility.
Sea Lions Classroom (12 Months-2 Years)
Ms. Danielle has loved caring for children her whole life. She never thought she would have the opportunity to take that passion and turn it into a job. She is excited to work in a facility where she can care for children as well as learn more about the Early Childhood field. She is married and has a daughter. She loves her family and spends her time working with her daughter to further her education and ensure she is ready to be sent off to big kid school. Ms. Danielle enjoys doing crafts, visiting water parks, as well as hiking. She plans to further her education in the future.
Ms. Keshia has been working in child care for over 15 years with the last few years venturing into different fields of work. She came to realize in that time that working in child care is her passion. She loves working with children and watching them grow and learn. She also is excited to be returning to school soon to complete a degree in Early Childhood Education. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her dog and doing yoga and meditating.
Ms. Kamryn joined Caughlin Club Kidz in November 2020. She has lived in Reno all her life. She has a lot of experiencing in babysitting for her nieces and nephews. This will be her first experience in a preschool setting, and she is really excited to get to know our kiddos here. Ms. Kamryn has a strong sense of responsibility. She enjoys working on her car and taking photos of it as well as her friend’s cars. Ms. Kamryn likes buying new car parts for her car and putting her time and money into making it look pretty.
Sea Turtle Classroom (2 Years - 3 Years)
Ms. Jessica started working with Caughlin Club Kidz in June 2018. She has worked in several classrooms and also ran our Adventure Camp program for school-aged kids. Jessica has over 15 years of experience working with children. She has three children, Caiden, Kilee-Jo and Giovanni. She also has a dog named Leo, a macaw named Sidney and a loop eared bunny named Addie. She loves to do things with her family outdoors and enjoys crafting. She likes to relax by lighting an nature scented candle and reading a book, or turning on an action packed movie with a cup of coffee or tea.
Ms. Rebeccah was a stay at home mom for 3 years with her two beautiful girls little girls. She joined Caughlin Club Kidz in December 2020. She has been working with kids since she was 13 years old by babysitting and within the church atmosphere. In her spare time Ms. Rebeccah loves getting outside and spending time with her family.
Jellyfish Classroom (3 Years - 4 Years)
Destini started at Caughlin Club Kidz in March 2020. Destini has been working with young children for the last year. She also has a daughter, Athena who attends here at Caughlin Club Kidz also. Destini is a fast learner and a good listener. On her free time, she like to read, garden and play with her daughter. Destini’s goal is to get enrolled with the T.E.A.C.H program this year to attend classes at T.M.C.C. to start her Associates in Early Childhood Education. She looks forward to working at Caughlin Club Kidz.
Ms. Ali has been working with children for the last five years through involvement in 4-H and FFA, and has work with first graders in a classroom setting. She would like to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Ali enjoys working with animals and spending time with friends. Ms. Ali joined Caughlin Club Kidz as a breaker in August 2020 and now enjoys working in the Jellyfish classroom since October 2020.
Whales Classroom (4.5 Years- 6 Years)
Ms. Kathy has been with Caughlin Club Kidz since October, 2012. She has her degree in Human Development Family Studies. Kathy sets clear guidelines for the children and has high expectations of each of them. Kathy has 40+ years of experience in childcare. Kathy loves her dogs and really enjoys traveling.
Kailyn joined Caughlin Club Kidz in September 2020 in our Whales classroom. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton in May 2020 with a major in Human Services with a track in Special Education and a minor in Child and Adolescent Development. Kailyn is dedicated to the kiddos and loves watching them gain skills socially, emotionally and academically. Ms. Kailyn is patient, and a good listener. She likes to explore new places, taking walks and water coloring. She is new to Reno so she would love to hear about your favorite spots around town!
Ms. Staci aka Gramma Staci joined Caughlin Club Kidz in August of 2017. She is a mother of 4 children and has 20+ grandchildren. She has worked in the Early Childcare field for over 8 years and found that it is her passion as she grows older. Staci is helpful in many ways around the facility. Staci performs most of our oddball tasks around our facility that are crucial to running a quality program.
Ms. Lisa has been teaching in preschool for almost 17 years in California. She has an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She moved to Reno in October 2019 and joined us here at Caughlin Club Kidz in August 2020. Ms. Lisa has two adult sons, Cody and Cole who still live in California. As a teacher she loves to see when new children enter her classroom for the first time. She loves watching children grow and learn about themselves and friends. She believes children are our future and with the right guidance from teachers they can do/be anything they want as they grow up.
